2016 Kia Cadenza review, price, specs – This vehicle was initially introduced in 2010 when the first generation came to the market. Last year, for the first time it appeared in the North America and new model is planned to be released not only in Korea, US and Canada but in China, Middle East, South America as well, and maybe even on the European market. Apparently, Kia wants to expand the market and increase sales. Cadenza has proved itself as a reliable full-size sedan, targeting customers who want luxury. Huge success is expected from the second generation considering their ambition and all the upgrades it faced. There is only a question – is Kia too ambitious with new Kia Cadenza 2016?
2016 Kia Cadenza redesign
The new 2016 Cadenza is the first representative of the second generation hence major changes are expected. One thing is definite – on the first look you can see that new Cadenza is way more luxurious than previous model. Luxury and sports are nouns which go with this car. Edges are more aggressive than before, especially front fascia which has new LED fog lights. Rear end also faced transformation. Along with new taillights bigger spoiler is expected. Cabin will look magnificent will the latest technology features and chrome accents. Convenience has been brought to a higher level and 2016 Kia Cadenza will set certain standards in this category.
Kia Cadenza 2016 specs
The new Kia Cadenza 2016 will probably use current engines, but slightly improved. Engines will be probably different for different markets. In Europe 2.2-liter diesel engine is expected, but other trim models will have 3.3-liter six-cylinder with an output of 340 horsepower and 310 lb-ft of torque, which is way better than present model. Dual-clutch transmission, with seven gears, is completely new feature and one of the biggest transformations. Acceleration is estimated to be 6.9 seconds from 0-100 km (0-60 miles) with the top speed of 130 mph. When it comes to fuel economy, figures are much better comparing to 2015 model. 28 mpg on the highway and 19 mpg in the city are not the top in the class but still competitive.
