Updated: The new 2016 Mazda CX-3 is compact crossover that has its debut at the latest Los Angeles Auto Show. It will have bigger engine and famous “Kodo” design. The Mazda CX-3 2016 will come to the showrooms next summer with price that should be around $20,000.

The 2016 Mazda CX-3 redesign will be based on the Mazda’s latest design style that is called “Kodo – soul of motion”. It will have noticeable trapezoidal grille, graven fenders and high sideline. The novelty on the front fascia will be headlights that features LED elements and give the different look to new Mazda’s crossover. The dimensions are very close to the Honda HR-V. It will have 168.3 inches of length and 101.2 inches of wheelbase.
Inside the new Mazda CX-3 2016 design will be elegant and compact. The comfy seats and high driving position promises enjoyable ride. It will come with Mazda’s infotainment system with 7-inch center display and a knob-type controller, leather and sueded upholstery, 18-inch wheels, dual-zone climate control, Lane departure control, blind spot warning system, rearview camera with parking sensors.

Under the hood of the new 2016 Mazda CX-3 will be powerplant that is borrowed from its larger brother, Mazda 3. It will be propelled by the 2.0-liter 4-cylinder engine that delivers 155 horsepower and 150 lb-ft of torque. It will be paired with 6-speed automatic transmission that we can find in Mazda 3. Standard drive for Mazda CX-3 2016 is front-wheel-drive wile an all-wheel-drive system will be optional. The fuel economy will be similar to the Mazda 3 which ahs EPA estimated fuel economy rated at 34 mpg in combined driving.

The new 2016 Mazda CX-3 release date should be in summer 2015. The price has not yet been announced. We expect that the new Mazda CX-3 2016 will cost less than the current CX-5 which has a base price that starts at $22,375.
